So, is there any way to COMPLETELY stop showing emojis/smileys in every single app? I'd rather see a blank square than an annoying face. Why I want to do that? I don't know, I hate them.

How to turn off automatic android emojis?

When I type in :-) or <3 into my messages app on my galaxy s8, it changes the text into these dumb green android emoticons. How do I turn this off so that it displays the actual '<3', ':-)', etc instead of these dumb green android emoji's??

Why does :) sometimes display a blushing emoji on Android? Can you stop this?

There are a few apps (including at least the stock Android 'Messaging' app, and Bumble) in which when I myself (or other people) type :), I see a blushing face emoji instead. Why does this sort of thing happen, and can you stop it?
