I am trying to create a vm for ubuntu in my mac but when i enter vagrant ssh terminal ask for password
i have checked vagrant website couldn't find the solution

vagrant init ubuntu/mantic64
vagrant up
vagrant ssh

Output:

 [bash-3.2$ vagrant ssh
 [email protected]'s password:

You can try the default user's credentials:

user: vagrant
password: vagrant

If it is not you may need to reset the password you can check that discussion on github: https://github.com/puphpet/puphpet/issues/2357

They are mentioning that a ssh key pair is being generated while setting up the machine

I am assuming you build the vagrant box by yourself or you got a vagrant which is not properly configured.

When the vagrant box is being created, vagrant user is need to be created with sudo access. I am sure you can easily find many articles how to build a vagrant box from scratch.
