Will Monero CPU mining always be feasible?
Bitcoin mining, as far as I'm aware, hit a point where it can't be mined merely with a CPU, if you expect results.
Will Monero's mining remain constant (is "constant" even an appropriate term)?

"I go faster as root"
When I run cpuminer-multi as a normal user, the first message I get is "I go faster as root". It indeed does not appear anymore when run as root (with command sudo)
What is made possible by being root? Is it safe?

What is the speed difference between CryptoNote Easy Miner and Monero Spelunker?

Is there a difference in speed on Windows machines? I notice pools offer one or the other to first-time users. Other than speed, is there a reason to choose one over the other?

Is there any way to put non AES-NI processors to use for mining?
Is there anyway to use non AES-NI processors for mining Monero or is it mostly just a waste of time because the hashrate is so small?

What would be good metrics to measure impact on miners when tweaking hardware/system?
Let's start with wolf's miner and Linux kernel 3.x at least.
What would be some good metrics to measure (+/-) impact for tweaking kernel (kernel cmdline like nohz_full/tickless/ intel.cstate), pinning process and sysctl like vm.stat_interval?…

Which would be better, many physical servers mining or one virtual machine running on openstack and adding hardware as you go?
Thanks.

Is a 50-60 H/s hashing speed normal for an Intel Core i5 4200?
I was trying to mine Monero using my CPU. I am getting a speed of about 50-60 H/s. Is this speed normally what you get while mining using CPU? I am on an Intel Core i5 4200 CPU.

How can I achieve over 1 million hash rates with minergate?
When I check minergate top 5 miner list for monero, it says the top miner has 1,976,941 H/s speed whereas I can only get ~270 H/s on CPU.
I also read somewhere that GPU mining for cryptonight algorithm makes it x2 faster or so but not like x100…
