Graduate in Physics at Unicamp (1996), Master's in Physics at Universidade de Brasilia (1999), and Ph.D. in Physics at Universidade de Brasilia (2003). Post-Doctoral stage (CNPq fellow) in Physics of Nanostructures, on the Physics Department of Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), in 2009-2010. He has a significant experience in teaching and research in the following areas: General physics (experimental and theoretical), Semiconductor Physics (Confinement and transport properties of charge carriers in semiconductors - bulk and heterostructures), Mathematical Physics (Nonlinear oscillations, effect of intense laser fields in quantum systems, systems with cylindrical symmetry, and others), Computational Physics, and Mathematics (Linear Algebra, Differential and Integral Calculus, Mathematical Analysis, Computational and Applied Mathematics, Systems of Algebraic and Symbolic Computation, and Numerical methods). More recently, he has developed some works on Analytic Number Theory.
