Spending my time these days living in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. and on an island off the coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. My favorite cities are (in no particular order) Helsinki, Finland; Edinburgh, Scotland; and Portland Oregon. I've had many interests, travels, and experiences but, for now, am content to spend my time in the North Cascades of Washington state and on the islands of the Salish Sea. I enjoy (among other things) bicycling and walking (my primary means of transport), reading, cooking, exercise, and mathematics. There is more, but maybe later.

I am casually following four groups here and more closely following one:

Mathematics (mainly Geometry), History of Science and Mathematics, TeX - Latex, Seasoned Advice, and Bicycles.

Euclidean Synthetic Geometry and its development are keeping me occupied at the moment.
