I'm Eemil, a 24-year old student from Helsinki, Finland. I matriculated in late spring 2015, my grade in A-level maths being Laudatur, which is the highest achievable grade. I used to be enrolled in the University of Helsinki mathematics program. I'm very interested in maths, and I hope to make a career out of either analysis or its applications into business. I fumble a lot with names of theorems and laws, due to the fact that I usually study in English, and encountering something familiar in Finnish tends to confuse me a bit. Right now I study mechanical engineering in the Tampere University of Applied Sciences.

I'm very interested in algebra, analysis, topology and graph theory. I'm also quite skilled in planar geometry and I'm somewhat curious about computer assisted mathematics.

My hobbies and interests outside of maths include avid following of politics - Finnish, EU and international - chess, computer games and chatting. I've been trying to start jogging but it hasn't been too easy for me.
