I'm new to the website; I just finished my MPhil in Mathematics. All kinds of math are fun, from basic geometry to the fringes of our quantitative understanding. That said, I love topology, algebraic topology, and functional analysis. My advanced study focused on algebraic topological sequences, covering spaces, and fibrations/higher-order homotopy groups.
I am by no means an 'expert'; I waived furthering my studies to the PhD level because I have no designs on academia and really just wanted to get back out on the job market. I have a lot of respect for academic mathematicians, and I deeply love math and exercising my problem-solving muscles on questions more advanced than I encounter at work. I am very excited to be joining this community. God knows how I would've loved such a resource as an undergrad studying basic point-set topology and abstract algebra!
