Ham radio peaked my interest in the 90's when I was an undergraduate electrical engineering student in New Orleans, but I never made the time to learn the hobby. Years later, one of the hosts of a popular podcast that I listen to (No Agenda) kept talking about his experiences as an amateur radio operator and it renewed my interest.
