I am a software engineer, currently working as a Java developer, but I like Python and GO for my personal projects, and write some JRuby scripts for work. A lot of my older stuff was written in AutoIt, but I try not to touch it anymore unless I'm modifying one of my older projects. I love technology in general, but security and communication is where my passion lies.

I love learning new languages, both programming and spoken. Not a polyglot yet, but hoping to get there some day. I first want to master (in addition to English of course) Spanish and Esperanto. Then maybe Arabic and who knows from there.

I love almost every kind of music, but especially prog rock/metal (Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Opeth, Tool). I consider myself a small l libertarian, and am excited by technological innovations that are replacing the need for traditional centralized services.
