Organization History

• President of the Huntsville Chess Club 1994-1997 Brought the State Championship to Huntsville for the first time in 1993 Directed the largest prize fund HCC tournament to date
• Chief Tournament Director and organizer for the first rated chess tournament conducted inside a natural cave (to be published in March 2019 Chess Life Kids)
• Vice President of the Alabama Chess Federation 2017-2018
• Current Treasurer of the Huntsville Chess Club
• United States Chess Federation Certified Local Tournament Director
• Created two and maintains three chess websites

• Began coaching and tutoring primary and elementary school club at Randolph (Private Day School) 1994 in Huntsville Alabama
• Tutored remote students in Japan, Australia, and Spain
• Currently coaching the primary and elementary school clubs at Heritage and Mill Creek schools in Madison Alabama
• My kids have won State team and individual championships
