I've tried to like Apple products, really, I have. I own an iPad Air and an iPod Nano. The iPod is fine, in so far as it sits in my car, never moves, and just does it's thing. But the iPad... way to restrictive, and the software is missing too many features. I replaced it with a Microsoft Surface 3 LTE.

I can't justify the purchase of an iPhone - it too is restrictive and feature incomplete. There are numerous times I've tried to help people do things with theirs, things that are simple and straightforward on Android, but flat out impossible in iOS.

I even appreciate some elements of OS-X. I'd love to be able to run it on hardware that didn't cost fifty percent more than it's actually worth.
