Show the Mobile Safari Debug Console on demand

Using the same iPad for testing and casual browsing makes the handling of the Mobile Safari Debug Console a little annoying. Is there any way to enable it on demand (ie on my test sites), without turning it on for all sites?

Prevent mobile Safari from loading the last page when started

Whenever I open Safari on both my iPhone and iPad, it starts loading the last webpage that I visited in the past, which is not very convenient. Is there a way to stop it from doing this?
