app that helps you saving battery by "hibernating" battery eaters
Greenify is an app that helps your battery lasting longer with each charge. For this, it "hibernates" selected apps (keeps them from running) while your screen is turned off. If a hibernated app supports GCM, it will still receive cloud messages and be able to notify you about them. Apps Greenify should deal with must be manually configured by the user, but Greenify helps in identifying potentially good candidates.
Greenify doesn't require root, but unleashes its full powers with root, Xposed and its donation package. It also supports tasker.
