Google Assistant is the new assistant developed by Google. It comes available to devices running Android 7.0 / 7.1 Nougat, and Pixel devices, also by Google. It can help you get things done, by talking to it. It is designed to replace Google Now, or Google Now on Tap / Screen Search. However, devices that are not running Android 7 Nougat yet could still use Google Now.
