Service from Google to locate and optionally factory-reset a lost Android device.
Android Device Manager is a service from Google to locate and optionally factory-reset a lost Android device.
By default, the option to ring a missing device (even if on Silent or Vibrate) is on, but in order to be able to remotely factory-reset the device, the option must be explicitly turned on in Google Settings. This functionality on the device is part of Google Play Services and became generally available on August 7, 2013.
To see and manage your device(s)s, simply visit Android Device Manager at https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager
using the same Google Account as on your device.
