Have been in academia one way another way too long for my own good. Bachelors in 2006, Masters in 2011, made it to PhD candidacy but never finished. Several years of university-level teaching experience. Am now retooling myself as an academic librarian with a specialty in research data management and possibly scholcomm.

Areas of specialty: ecology/evolution, anthropology (especially bio), animal behavior, working in natural habitats, wildlife conservation, theory of sex and gender, philosophy (especially ethics but also epistemology, reluctantly). Armchair research interests: economics, medicine/nutrition/fitness, politics, cultural analysis/critique, self-publishing/self-promotion in the (genre) fiction and scholarly realms.

Things that are awesome: cats, rock music, cats, playing sports and lifting heavy stuff, cats, writing and drawing. Cats.
